Commission announces Chamber of Commerce may be moving
The flag at the Laclede County Courthouse was lowered and taking down at the County Commissioners meeting today. The meeting took place this morning at the Laclede County Courthouse and the commissioners heard updates on road and bridges around the county. One of the main updates was on Grindstone Road. The road will be closed between the addresses of 29033 and 29388 for a new low water slab. The closure will begin at 7:30 am next Monday July 10th and is scheduled to re open the following Monday July 17th. After hearing road and bridge updates the Commissioners with the Help of O.E.M and the Lebanon Fire Department took Old Glory down for the year. In other news Presiding County Commissioner Randy Angst received a notice regarding the Chamber of Commerce.
Angst said the county renewed in March, and the Chamber lease conditions were 1800 square feet for 10 dollars per year. The Chamber of Commerce still has to get an agreement approved through Lebanon City Council before they can move to the planned location.
