The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Webster County. It happened at around 3 pm Thursday when a deputy was attempting to serve an ExParte order at an address on Highway B north of Rogersville. The man inside the residence refused to cooperate with the deputies on the scene and barricaded himself inside. Deputies called in the Highway Patrol for assistance, and after several hours of attempted negotiations, the man came out with a semi-automatic style weapon and fired at the officers. The Officers returned fire and hit the suspect. The man was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
