Nominations are now being accepted through the end of April for the Fort Leonard Wood civilian awards

Nominations are now being accepted through the end of April for the Fort Leonard Wood civilian awards program. The awards are intended to recognize employees for their outstanding efforts in both daily work and specific acts. All civilian employees are eligible for nomination, with the exception of contractors, non-appropriated fund employees, and Defense Health Agency employees. There are four categories of awards, including “Acquire, Retain, and Care for People,” “Develop Leaders of Character,” “Train Warriors of Character and Generate Readiness,” and “Drive Change and Shape the Force.” Each category has three levels, based on grade. Nominees must be in their position for at least one year at the time of submission and can be nominated by their chain of command or peers. However, the supervisor or chain of command must concur with the nomination. To receive a copy of the nomination form, or for more information, call 573-563-4000, or email [email protected].
