Newburg driver injured in two vehicle accident

A two-vehicle traffic accident Wednesday morning in Phelps County resulted in minor injuries for 27-year-old Justin A. Case of Newburg. According to the State Highway Patrol, Case was injured when he was slowing down his 1990 Isuzu pickup on North Outer Road west of County Road 2210. Case’s pickup was struck in the rear by a 2019 Kia Sorrento driven by 75-year-old Ronald L. James of St. James. James was not injured. Case was taken by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla for treatment of his injuries.
