New way to make public records request

The City of Lebanon now has a new public records management system in place for those who are seeking public information from the various departments. Next Request will allow the public to make records requests through a portal on the city website. City Clerk Laina Starnes said Next Request allows requesters and the city to keep track of requests for records….

According to Starnes it will also reduce paperwork….

She said the software also allows them to centralize all requests in one system while keeping detailed audit trails to ensure compliance with the Sunshine Law. Anyone who needs to make a public record request can find the Next Request Portal on the City of Lebanon website.
