New warning siren at Macks Creek
The Camden County Commission and the Camden County Emergency Management Agency accepted a bid for a complete purchase and turnkey installation of an Electronic Warning Siren System.
1 bid was received from L & B Electronics in the amount of $19,600. Camden County Emergency Management Director, Ron Gentry talks about the importance to the new Weather Siren.
The Warning Siren System will be placed on the Macks Creek School property. The entirety of the project is a funded grant from SEMA through the EMPG mini-grant process. The Warning Siren System project must be completed and paid for by June 30, 2020, for the grant to apply.
