9-1-1 Center construction continues in Laclede County

The Laclede County Commissioners discussed how two main projects are coming along at their meeting this morning (Tuesday). The new 911 Emergency Call Center and the Second Street Entrance projects are the two biggest projects going on at the Laclede County Courthouse. The Commissioners signed a contract that will allow DeWitt and Associates to start working on the new ADA-compliant entrance very soon on Second Street. County Maintenance Director Gene Hoke spoke to the commissioners on updates about the new 911 Emergency Call Center.

Weather permitting the call center will be done in around a year, and the Second Street Entrance has a 120-day contract once started.
