Twenty-five troopers will graduate from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on Wednesday, January 12th, at 10 o’clock in the morning. Governor Mike Parson will provide the keynote address and Colonel Eric T. Olson, Highway Patrol Superintendent will also speak to the class. None of the intended graduates is from this area of the state. However, several of the graduates will be assigned to the area later this month. These include Matthew M. Guinnip of Hallsville, who will be assigned to Zone 16 of the patrol in Camden and Miller Counties, and Matthew D. Easton of Hannibal, who is going to zone 17 in Camden and Miller Counties. One of the graduates–Elijah D. LeBlanc of Anderson–will be going to Zone 2 in Phelps and Maries Counties. The new troopers will report for duty in their assigned troops on Monday, January 31st.
