New Safety Radios for Lebanon R-3 School District

Safety is Lebanon R-3 Districts number one priority. That means being able to have working tools during emergencies. The district has been working on being able to communicate well in case of an emergency. For years the district has been trying to get better walky talkies or radios to use during an emergency. Director of School Safety Jason Riggs is pleased to announce that the district was able to get new and improved radios to talk to communicate with law enforcement, local fire district, and the school district during an emergency.
Riggs says he did a walkthrough in the schools with the new radios and had no problems hearing.
Riggs says Lebanon will be the first school district with these radios
Riggs says by November/October the radios should be programmed and hooked up with all the law enforcements, and Highway Patrol in the area.
