New on-ramp at the North End of the Lake will slow traffic on Highway 54

(Lake Ozarks)–Now that the hectic Fourth of July traffic overload is over at the Lake of the Ozarks, the Missouri Department of Transportation is beginning a project that will reduce westbound Highway 54 traffic in order to begin constructing a new on-ramp for the interchange on the north end of Lake of the Ozarks. To prepare for the construction of the ramp, project workers are beginning today to install fill material. This work will require the closure of a single westbound lane through this Thursday. Signs will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are asked to plan for delays and to slow down and watch for crews in the work zones.
