New Eastern District Commissioner talks about first week in office

On Thursday, Laclede County officeholders were sworn in for the new term of office. Among them was Eastern District Commission David Layman, who is one of two newcomers to the Laclede County Government Center. Layman won the election in November and is taking over the seat that was held by Joe Pickering for several years before he announced his retirement. Incoming Laclede County Public Administrator Zane McCasklin was also sworn into office on Thursday.
