The Lebanon Area Community Development Corporation is helping a new restaurant and bar get off the ground, in Downtown Lebanon. The Lebanon Area CDC, which was formed in 2004, operates a revolving loan fund to provide small business loans to local entrepreneurs. Lebanon REDI President Brian Thompson tells us that the fund is traditionally used for gap financing, but this low-interest loan will be for $150-thousand…….

The new business named The Rail 1868 will be located at 123 West Commercial in Lebanon

The Lebanon Area CDC was developed by members who purchased initial shares including Commerce Bank, First State Community Bank, Great Southern Bank, Heritage
Bank of the Ozarks, Mid-Missouri Bank, U. S. Bank, and Lebanon REDI. Other businesses that may have interest in potential CDC funding can find out more information by
contacting a loan officer at their member bank or by reaching out to REDI or the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce.
