Need to keep track of where you have been in this day of Coviod-19
While the COVID-19 virus is spreading across the United States, it might be a good idea to keep a journal of places that you go to each day. If you do become infected, it will make contact tracing for your local health department much easier. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says it’s hard for some people to remember where they’ve been during any given week…………
A good idea is to use your cell phone to make notes of businesses you visit, and what time you visit them. That can be done on your phone’s calendar. Baker says when they do have to contact a business owner to notify them that someone with the virus has visited their location, they are getting a good response……….
During his daily press briefings, Governor Mike Parson continues to tout the state’s rapidly expanding testing ability. Baker says we are not seeing that here in Laclede County……….
Laclede County has two cases of the virus. Missouri has just under 10-thousand confirmed cases as of Monday afternoon. Nearly 500 Missourians have lost their lives to the COVID-19 virus in the last seven weeks. Around 1.34 million cases are being reported in the United States, with nearly 80-thousand deaths.
