National Weather Service in Springfield issues the latest Drought report for our area

Drought intensity and Extent
○ D3 Extreme Drought: The northern half of Morgan, northern Benton, and extreme northern Miller Counties.
○ D2 Severe Drought: The southern half of Morgan, northern Camden, northern Miller, central and southern Benton, northern St. Clair, southwest Vernon, and northwest
Barton Counties in Missouri, the northern half of Crawford, and the southern half of Bourbon Counties in southeast Kansas.
○ D1 Moderate Drought: North of a line from Pittsburg, Kansas to Hermitage, Missouri to Vichy.
○ D0 Abnormally Dry: North of a line from Salem to Lebanon to Carthage, and south of a line from Monett to Marshfield to Eminence.
