National Transportation and Safety Board has released its preliminary findings on the plane crash at the Lake

Two people were killed, and one person was hospitalized with serious injuries when a Cessna airplane crashed on July 13th after taking off from the Grand Glaize Airport at the Lake of the Ozarks. The National Transportation and Safety Board has released its preliminary findings on the plane crash. NTSB says there were no mechanical problems found after an inspection of the wreckage. According to the preliminary report, eyewitnesses report seeing the tail of the plane drop as it tried to turn. The NTSB investigation will continue.
Killed in the airplane crash were the pilot, 22-year-old Hayden M Ritchhart of Carrollton, and a passenger, 19-year-old Evan R. Vandiver of Richmond. A second passenger, 54-year-old Gary Vandiver of Richmond, was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
