An investigation by the Osage Beach Police and Mid Missouri Drug Task Force has led to the arrest of several people. During the investigation officers reportedly observed one person, later identified as 42-year-old James Bierman, going from the apartments carrying a backpack and approaching vehicles conducting alleged drug transactions. On February 16th, Law Enforcement executed a search warrant at apartments in the 1-thousand block of Red Bud Road. During the search, officers recovered the backpack and recovered a large baggy that contained around 10 grams of methamphetamine and a digital scale. Another suspect, Shawna Miller stated that she took a baggie that contained psilocybin mushrooms from the backpack when Bierman was out of the room. The psilocybin mushrooms and a syringe were located in Miller’s purse. Another person who was in one of the apartments, 26-year-old Tristan Howard, was searched and found in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine, and a glass smoking device that tested positive for methamphetamine. Another occupant of the apartments, 56-year-old Jeffrey Rhea turned over methamphetamine and was found in possession of drug paraphernalia. All of the people arrested are facing felony drug possession charges. Bierman is also charged with the delivery of a controlled substance.
