A Laclede County man who is already facing charges for the murder of Mark Pitts of Lebanon has now been charged in connection with the stabbing of two inmates in the Laclede County Jail. Dustin Lee Combs is accused of stabbing two inmates with a shank, in December 2020, during a dispute over a debt that was owed for coffee. In addition to the first charges from Pitts murder, Combs is now formally charged with 2 counts of 1st-degree assault and 2 counts of armed criminal action. He is being held without bond.
