Murder in 1906

If you are looking for a good read in a true crime murder genre you should try “The Potato Masher Murder” by a local retired journalist and now author Gary Sosniecki. The story is about his murdered great grandmother back in 1906 and as he said, the story had been a family skeleton in the closet for many years:

Sosniecki says after he retired he moved back to Lebanon and had been convalescing after an accident and decided to write the book. He gives us an overview of the story:

Sosniecki will launch the book at the Lebanon Laclede County Library on Tuesday, August 11th at 6:pm. He will be selling the book and also signing the book and everyone is invited out to the event.
