Multiple Drug arrests in Dallas and Camden County

A man and woman from Buffalo were arrested for drug possession after a traffic stop in Dallas County. A Deputy was on Highway 65 and pulled over a car that was being driven by a suspect in a drug investigation. A K-9 was brought to the scene, and made a positive alert on the vehicle. When a passenger in the vehicle was asked to step out, she was holding a book that containe a bag of Methamphetamine. When her purse was searched a glass pipe with residue, multiple unused baggies, and digital scales with residue were seized. Cleo Patrisse Sarpy was charged with delivery of a controlled substance. Before entering the jail, Sarpy also turned over 3 bags of methamphetamine that had been hidden on her. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Mathew McMannamy, who is on parole was also arrested and charged after methamphetamine and a pipe were found on him, and a pencil case containing 4 small baggies of methamphetamine and an unused pipe, were found inside the vehicle between the seats. McMannamy was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

A man from Warsaw is facing charges in Camden County following an investigation by the Camdenton Police Department over the weekend. Officers responded to a business on Cecil Street for a report of shoplifting. As an officer approached the suspect vehicle the two men inside were allegedly moving around in a nervous manner. The driver, identified as Kyle Fraser was asked to exit the vehicle, and detained for shoplifting. A passenger, identified as Jerry Ward was also asked to get out of the car. When the officer looked through the window of the vehicle for the stolen property he saw a glass smoking pipe with white residue in the seat. When the officer then began looking inside the car he seized tw jglass smoking devices with methamphetamine residue, a baggie that contained a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine and a small digital scale with white residue. Both Fraser and Ward were arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, with a court hearing set for June 1st.
