Several area residents suffered injuries in multiple accidents over the weekend. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that at 1:00 pm Saturday a car driven by 17-year-old Jonathan P. Burgess of Lebanon, ran off the right side of Pecos Drive, one mile northeast of Lebanon, returned to the road, and then traveled off the left side of the road striking an embankment, the vehicle then went airborne, overturned ejecting the Burgess. Burgess was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

A two-vehicle accident at 4:30 Sunday afternoon on Highway F, 3 miles northwest of Sleeper in Laclede County resulted in multiple injuries. A car driven by 38-year-old Kenneth R. Noll of Saint Robert, turned into the path of a car driven by 61-year-old Dino A. Bova of Saint Louis, causing the cars to collide on the passenger side. Both drivers suffered serious injuries, along with a passenger in Bova’s vehicle, 58-year-old Lynne M. Bova also of Saint Louis. All were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.

At 7:17 last night, a pickup driven by 24-year-old Stormy R. Donaldson of Dixon, ran off the right side of Highway 63, three miles south of Licking in Texas County. Donaldson overcorrected, returned to the highway, went airborne, and overturned, ejecting Donaldson from his pickup. He was transported by air ambulance to Cox South in Springfield.
