Mountain Grove man arrested for child molestation

An investigation by the Texas County Sheriff’s Office and the Children’s Division of Social Services has led to the arrest of a man from Mountain Grove. According to Sheriff Scott Lindsey the investigation in Mountain Grove began when a juvenile victim disclosed allegations of sexual contact with an adult. On Friday, the investigation led authorities to 64 year old Mark Forbeck who was taken into custody. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Forbeck admitted to sexual contact with the victim. Forbeck is charged with child molestation, along with other charges. He is being held in the Texas County Jail with a bond of $500-thousand-dollars.
