Morgan County R-2 Will Have A New Superintendent

The Morgan County R-II Board of Education has announced that Marc Spunaugle has been appointed as the district’s next superintendent. With 30 years of educational experience, including 13 years as an administrator, Spunaugle was previously the superintendent in Leeton, Missouri. He will officially take up his new position on July 1, 2023. Spunaugle said he is looking forward to serving the Morgan County R-II students, staff, and community as their next superintendent. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri, a Master’s Degree from William Woods University, and an Education Specialist Degree from Southwest Baptist University.
