Morgan County Couple Facing Numerous Charges
A Morgan County man has been accused of multiple charges including possession of child pornography, endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of a controlled substance.
A relative of 39-year-old Curtis Andrews informed Morgan County deputies about discovering “disturbing child pornography” on Andrews’ cellphone.
Once search warrants were obtained for Andrews’ camper, deputies conducted a thorough search, leading to the discovery of additional pictures and videos.
Deputies noted that Andrews’ girlfriend, 34-year-old Tiah Kennedy, along with two juveniles, resided in the camper as well and had easy access to drugs on the property.
Kennedy was subsequently charged by prosecutors with two counts of first-degree endangerment of a child involving drugs and possession of a controlled substance.
Kennedy admitted to being aware of the drugs present in the camper but claimed they belonged to Andrews.
She also confessed to having used methamphetamine with Andrews three days prior and anticipated testing positive in a urine test.
Prosecutors charged Andrews with three counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of first-degree endangerment of a child involving drugs, and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
