A narcotics investigation in Climax Springs led to multiple charges against a Climax Springs man. Officer with the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, were conducting an investigation at a residence on Bollinger Creek Road, when the located a large marijuana growing operation. At the scene, officers seized 291 Marijuana plants, and 140 starter plants, along with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia used in the distribution and consumption of controlled substance. 56 year old James Garr is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
