More Candidate filings in Pulaski County

As the filing deadline next Tuesday nears, there were several filings for local city offices on Thursday. In Dixon, Charles McPeak has filed for City Marshall. He joins current Marshall Gary Brankel on the Ballot. There’s still no one to have filed for Ward 2 Councilman. Trevor Warnol has filed for Ward 3 Council member to join Shawn Stevens for that post. Les Hansmann has filed for Municipal Judge. Another candidate has entered the race for St. Robert Ward 1 Alderman. Glen Askeland filed Thursday to challenge current Ward 1 Alderman Theresa Cook.
One candidate has filed for the Ward 1 council seat in Waynesville. He is Robert Rice. On the ballot now, Rice joins Cecil Davis for ward 2 council, Ed Conley for ward 3 council, and Michael Curtis for ward 4 council. Dr. Jerry Brown has filed for Mayor of Waynesville. The filing deadline for city offices for the April elections is 5 p-m Tuesday, January 21st.
