Modot will close Route K and Highway 64 this week

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be working in Dallas County beginning Monday. Crews will be replacing drain pipes under the roadway, on Route K between Steelman Road and Sundance Road east of Buffalo on Monday. On Tuesday they will be working on Route K at Slate Trail west of Bennett Spring, and on Wednesday and Thursday crews will be on Route 64 between Polk County Route D and 339th Road west of Louisburg. All of the work will take place between 8am and 3pm, and the road will be closed while crews are working. Drivers will be able to get to driveways on either side of the work zone, but you will not be able to travel through the work zone.
