The Missouri Department of Transportation has wrapped a piece of work in the City of Lebanon. Several drivers had been complaining to the City about the condition of Jefferson Avenue for some time. Recently, Modot crews took action to make a part of the driving surface smoother. Bob Lynch with the Missouri Department of Transportation tells us the crews worked overnight……

 

To improve traffic flow on Jefferson, recently Modot installed a flashing yellow arrow signal at the intersection of Jefferson and Elm Street. The signal light changed added a flashing yellow light for Elm Street traffic which will allow drivers turning left onto Jefferson to also navigate the intersection when there is a safe gap in traffic.
