MODOT to hold online public meeting about projects on D and E

The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding an online public meeting and two-week comment period for an upcoming pavement improvement project on Route D in Camden and Laclede counties and Route E in Laclede and Dallas counties. The online meeting will be active from now through May 6, though the meeting materials will be available after the meeting has ended.

The current plans include Route D that includes asphalt resurfacing from U.S. Route 54 in Camden County to Route E in Laclede County. In addition the installatio of new shoulders and rumble strips, and shifting the road away from the historic Post Office at Ha Ha Tonka State Park. On Route E the plan includes asphalt resurfacing from Highway 5 to the Dallas County line.

During the online public meeting and two-week comment period the community and interested parties can explore the proposed improvements and then submit input and ask questions. For additional information on how to connect go to Modot.org
