MODOT is now prepared for winter weather and have an ample supply of road salt

Last week the Missouri Department of Transportation conducted the annual winter weather drill to determine their readiness for winter weather that could impact travel. Area Engineer Bob Lynch tells us that the drill gives the crews an opportunity to find potential hazards while the roads are clear.

Lynch said this is especially important for their new crew members. He said MODOT is now prepared for winter weather and have an ample supply of road salt to help keep roads safer to drive on.
