Missouri’s Josh Hawley and Vermont’s Bernie Sanders join together to present a stimulus package

(Washington, D. C.)–Missouri’s junior senator is teaming up with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders on a stimulus package, and they are warning that they’ll try to use next week’s funding deadline to force a vote on a package that includes direct assistance to Americans. GOP Senator Josh Hawley says the Hawley-Sanders plan is the exact one approved by Congress in March: a 12-hundred dollar direct payment for adults, 24-hundred dollars for couples, and 500-dollars per child:
