Missouri Will Have New Education Leader

Missouri’s Elementary and Secondary Education Department will soon have a new leader – State Senator Karla Eslinger. The state Board of Education has chosen Eslinger, of southern Missouri’s Wasola (wah-SO-luh) to replace Commissioner Margie Vandeven. Eslinger plans to become commissioner on June 1. Commissioner Vandeven, plans to resign on July 1.
