Missouri Trappers to hold fall rendezvous in St. Robert
(St. Robert)–The Missouri Trappers Association will hold their 2020 Fall Rendezvous September 18th through 20th in St. Robert. The event, which will be held at the Pulaski County Fairgrounds and St. Robert Community Center, will introduce an educational and fun convention of trapping demonstrations from the best trappers in the state and vendors to supply all trapping needs.
There will be hourly demos, a variety of vendors, trap setting contests, skillet toss and a washer tournament on Friday night. Additionally, a fish fry is scheduled for Friday and a pork lunch on Saturday. This event is free, and the public is encouraged to attend. The Missouri Trappers Association’s mission is to preserve the heritage and profession of the fur trapper, create mutual understanding and goodwill with groups or individuals by practicing and teaching the skills that will conserve and maintain a balance of nature without misuse, and provide for the harvesting of renewable resources.
