Missouri Ranks 5th in cases per capita, Missouri’s First Lady among positive cases

The latest Coronavirus Task Force Report is out. Some counties have been upgraded from yellow zone to red zone and vice versa. The weekend report has central Missouri’s Boone County downgraded from red to yellow. Audrain, Cooper, and Pettis Counties are in the yellow zone. Callaway, Maries, Miller, Moniteau, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski, and Randolph counties have been upgraded to the red zone. Camden and Cole counties remain in the red zone. Missouri’s cases per capita ranks fifth out of all 50 states. The state remains in the red zone nationally as 74% of Missouri counties have moderate to high levels of transmission. As Missouri continues to contend with rising numbers of positive COVID 19 cases, Teresa Parson, wife of Missouri Mike Parson, has tested positive for COVID-19, according to reports. Mrs Parson showed mild symptoms for a while and received a rapid test, which showed as positive. A second more comprehensive test has been conducted on Mrs Parson with results pending. Governor Parson, who was scheduled for a luncheon today, instead made his way to get a rapid test as well, and has postponed all events and appearances this week.
