(Jefferson City)–Missouri is doing mass testing this week of meatpacking plant employees in Saline and Moniteau counties. Governor Parson says testing workers for the coronavirus is critical to keeping the food supply chain open for the state and the nation.

Employees at Triumph Foods in northwest Missouri’s St. Joseph are also being tested after some workers came down with the virus. Burgers Smokehouse in central Missouri’s California has also had some employees test positive.
