Missouri Legislature in session

Lawmakers started the 1st day of session by attending the Legislative Prayer Service at Concord Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Dr. John Yeates is Missouri Baptist Convention’s Executive Director, He reminded those in attendance of the apostle Paul and his letter to Timothy.

During the service, Legislators recited the pledge of allegiance sang the national anthem and prayed over our state and nation.
