Missouri Launches Farm Relief Program

Missouri has launched the Farm Relief Loan program to help farmers and ranchers impacted by this summer’s drought. Missouri State Treasurer Vivek Malek says the program helps farmers and producers impacted by back-to-back years of hardship…

His office is dedicating 100-million dollars to the program with a cap limit of one-million dollars for each borrower. Farmers and ranchers that have experienced any form of drought this summer are eligible to apply for the loans at reduced interest rates. Malek says all applicants have to do is contact their local bank or Farm Credit Services.
