(Washington, D. C.)–Missouri U-S Senator Josh Hawley says he has helped to secure top Missouri Priorities in the Fiscal Year 2021 National Defense Authorization Act. The bill now heads to the Senate floor. Among the direct benefits to Missouri, the bill would provide another 40-million dollars in military construction funding for the new hospital at Fort Leonard Wood. It would also support traumatic brain injury research at Fort Wood. The bill would provide 2.9-billion dollars for the Air Force to develop the B-21 Raider, which will be based at Whiteman Air Force Base…and provide 255-million dollars for the Air Force to develop the T-7 Red Hawk, to be built in Missouri.
