The Missouri Department of Transportation will start work on the first of three bridge projects over the Gasconade River at the end of February. Work on the Route 89 bridge between Belle and Linn is scheduled to start on February 28th. That bridge will be completely closed to traffic while crews are working. On April 4th, crews will start work on the Route 42 bridge east of Vienna. The bridge will be down to one lane. Motorists will be guided through the work zone. The work on the Route 100 bridge is expected to start sometime this summer. During the work, Route 100 will be one lane during the day. At night, both lanes will be open to traffic. Boat traffic on the Gasconade River will be limited under the bridges during construction.
