Missouri Department of Conservation offers tips to anyone headed to the Trails

The Warmer weather is arriving and more people are making their way to the trails. Missouri Department of Conservation Officer, Jarad Milligan offers some tips to anyone who is gearing up for a hike.

Some Trails throughout the state parks can be more trying than others and you could find yourself unprepared. Officer Milligan mentions, its always a good idea to let someone know when and where you will be hiking.

Another way to stay safe and allow people to know where you may be during a hike, is to fill out the information cards with your name and arrival time; the info cards are at the Trail heads in all Missouri state parks. You can find things to do outdoors in Missouri by visiting mdc.mo.gov
