With the Coronavirus spreading across the country, hospitals and medical professionals experienced a large demand for personal protective equipment, including masks and caps. At the same time, Mercy Hospital Lebanon was the beneficiary of a gift from Missouri Campers on Mission. While in the Lebanon area the group erected a covered arena at Laclede Baptist Camp, and the women began sewing masks which were provided to local nursing homes, and to Mercy. Mercy Health Foundation Director Karen Neasby said it was a welcome gift…

The group then discovered there was a need for caps that could be sanitized and re-used at Mercy Lebanon.

5 women from Missouri Campers on Mission worked several days and sewed 170 surgical caps and 230 face masks for Mercy Lebanon.
