Minimum wage increase
2021 will mean an increase in hourly pay for minimum wage earners in Missouri. In 2018, voters approved Proposition B which gradually increased the minimum wage from $7.85 an hour. On January 1st, the minimum wage will increase to $10.30 per hour, which means more money in the pocket of earners… maybe. Brian Thompson with Lebanon Regional Economic Development tells us that businesses may have to make adjustments…
The increase will directly give a raise to around 282-thousand Missourians and indirectly to another 250-thousand workers.
