Milton Edward Pope of Waynesville has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court in Waynesville on six felony counts connected to an alleged February 14th incident. Court records allege that Pope committed the class B felony of burglary, the class E felony of unlawful use of a weapon, and 4 counts of the class E felony of harrassment in the first degree. The records accuse Pope of engaging in an act with the purpose to cause emotional distress to four victims by entering their apartment armed with a machete and stating that they were “going to get crazy or mess things up.” Pope entered not guilty pleas to all charges. Judge Colin Long ordered him to appear in court for a February 20th counsel status hearing and a March 11th preliminary hearing.
