Miller County Drug Arrests

A narcotics investigation in Miller County led to the seizure of drugs and the arrest of a man from Olean. According to the Sheriff’s Office, as part of the investigation deputies searched a residence in Olean, and located methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Jessie Jennings was arrested and is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and is being held with a bond of $50-thousand-dollars. According to the report, Jennings is on probation on a prior conviction of drug possession.

On May 29th, Miller County Deputies, the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force and the Eldon Police Department served a search warrant at addresses on Foote Lane Road and Woodchuck road, as part of a burglary investigation. Stolen property was recovered at both residences, along with methamphetamine and a gun. Gerald Was was arrested and is charged with felony possesion of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a firearm. He is being held without bond on a parole violation.
