Unvaccinated Military Personnel against Covid at Fort Leonard Wood will now be required to get the Pfizer shot. Now that the Food and Drug Administration has given its stamp of approval to the Pfizer Covid vaccine, the Pentagon apparently is going ahead with its plan to require all active-duty military personnel to receive the shot. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said Monday that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is making good on his vow to require the shots earlier this month once the Food and Drug Administration approved the vaccine. Kirby said the guidance is being developed and a timeline will be provided in the coming days.
