Mid America Freedom Rally sign in’s start Friday at noon

The gates will open at noon today for signing in for this holiday weekend’s Mid America Freedom Rally being held at the Shrine Club Park in Buckhorn. Musical entertainment lined up for this evening includes the D-J Road Show from 7 to 10 o’clock and the K-C Ritz Band from 10 p-m to midnight. Saturday events include both a long and a short motorcycle poker run. There will be field events at noon, a wet T-shirt contest at 5 o’clock tomorrow evening. From 7 p-m to 1 a-m, rally attendees will be entertained by the Almost Kiss Tribute Band,, Bob Seger Tribute Silver Bullets, and Phat Mke and the Bartenders. The Miss Freedom Rally contest is scheduled to take place at 9:15 tomorrow evening. The Mid America Freedom Rally runs through Memorial Day.
