Missouri’s 988 crisis hotline expects to get about 253-thousand people reaching out for help within its first year. That’s about four times the volume that the hotline has received in past years. Casey Muckler, who leads Missouri’s lifeline, says the state and the rest of the nation launched the hotline in July.
