Measles Found In Saint Louis Area

A confirmed case of measles has popped up in the St. Louis area. The person had recently traveled internationally. State Epidemiologist Nathan Koffarnus says measles is a highly contagious airborne disease, but says the illness is rare in the U.S.
Symptoms include a fever, runny nose, coughing, red eyes, sore throat and a rash starting on the face at the hairline and spreading downward to the rest of the body.
