(St. Robert)–Local Fort Leonard Wood area businesses are taking a financial hit during the current coronavirus pandemic. However, some businesses are enjoying unprecedented prosperity, such as big-name retailers and restaurants that offer drive-through food and food pick up. Still, there has been an overall adverse impact upon other area businesses, according to St. Robert Mayor George Lauritson.

Lauritson says there are several firms currently involved in construction in the city.
