Mayor Carr expresses appreciation to voters

In a vote of 2 to 1, voter’s in the City of Lebanon approved a sales tax that will replace the park levy that is currently charged on real estate and personal property in Lebanon. Mayor Jared Carr said he is thankful for the Lebanon voters…


With the passage of the sales tax, the city and parks will be able to make future improvements and meet current financial needs to maintain the quality of life that residents have come to expect. Property owners in the City of Lebanon will still pay a property tax, but it will only be half of what they were paying before.
