Mary Lou Marjorie Rossow (Camdenton)
Mary Lou Marjorie (Hage) Rossow, daughter of Henry and Agnes (Holtz) Hage, was born on April 15, 1940 and departed this life on August 19, 2024 to continue life with her Lord Jesus Christ.
Mary Lou was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield, Minnesota. She graduated from Lakefield High School with the class of 1958.
On June 7, 1959, Mary Lou married Donald Palmer and to this marriage three children were born, twin daughters, Lonna and Donna; and son, Glenn.
On August 15, 1975, Mary Lou and David Rossow were united in marriage; welcomed with love into the family were David’s three children, Nancy, Kristine and Bradley. Mary Lou and David made their home in Camdenton for forty-nine years.
Mary Lou enjoyed bowling at her parents bowling alley, Bowlers Inn, recording many 600 series and won several tournament. Her “champion” rosettes were always a hit at Christmas time. She baked 550 every christmas to give away to friends and family; also baking and decoration many wedding a birthday cakes. Mary Lou also enjoyed her many plants, flowers and her love for her dog, Molly, never went unnoticed.
Mary Lou worked at the Lakefield Hospital for seventeen years. She then worked at Camden Medical Center in Camdenton for five years, before working for Camden County Home Health.
Mary Lou was a member of Our Saviours Lutheran Chruch in Camdenton, Missouri; her faith in God was very important to her.
Recently, Mary Lou entered the Arrowhead Senior Living Facility due to her declining health. She was well loved by all those who cared for her and passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Mary Lou is survived by her huband of forty-nine years, David Rossow; daughters, Lonna (Bruce) Burmesiter and Donna (Michael) Bisaaillon; son, Glenn (Shelly) Palmer; step-children, Nancy (Earl) Graham and Bradley (Angie) Rossow; sisters, Berniece Kolander, Beverly Hall and Diane (James) Laursen; sister-in-law, Elaine Belsheim; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and many neices and nephews.
Mary Lou was preceded in passing by her parents, Henry & Agnes Hage and Walter & Georgianna Rossow; step-daughter, Kristin Rossow; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie (Kenneth) Bisping, Darrell (Adele) Hage, Horace Hall, Ahrles Kolander, Phylis (Donald) Belsheim, and Dean Belsheim.
We celebrate her life and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Blessed be the memory of Mary Lou Marjorie Rossow.
